    Hundreds of years may pass

    until I shake the hook loose.

    Creatures of the deep that can’t be owned, scream:

    No weight can stay.

    The boat stands still and far below

    I dive away, unseen.



    Lefcothea Maria Golgaki (Λευκοθέα Μαρία Γκολγκάκη) comes from Greece where she is a published book author, script writer, and playwright. Internationally, she has contributed to four poetry collections published by Scars Publications, The Poet, and Adelaide Literary Magazine.
